Choose a project for the group or pick wildcard and leave it up to fate (ie your instructor).
Projects to choose from: Mugs, Planters, Vases, Bowls, Pitchers, Figurines, Spoon Rests, Catch-alls, Small Pinch Bowls Sets or Free-range (each individual chooses for themselves).

In this class, we will explore art-making through meditation and intuition. This is not an actual therapy session but a safe space to learn about what clay has to offer us. Whether you are having a stressful week, need a creative outlet, or want to learn about art therapy, this class is for you.
Each week, class will focus a new prompt and form. Individuals will learn basic hand-building techniques with the goal of leaving class refreshed and uplifted.
No experience is needed, all levels are welcome.

All levels hand-building class, drop in and enjoy a 2 hour studio session. Instructors will demo a specific project, whether that is a pinch pot, coil pot, or slab construct. Students are free to use the learned techniques to work on their own ideas.
$25 deposit- pay the remaining balance of your choice in class

In this private class bring your friends, family, or co-workers together for some creative bonding time. In class individual will learn various hand-building techniques to make a ceramic object from start to finish. Students are granted creative freedom to make what they want or the group may request a project from the instructor. Mugs, bowls, vases, and planters are easy beginner projects. No experience is necessary.

$225 deposit due to secure booking. The rest of the payment will be due the day of your class depending on your group size.
Hand-building for Two aka Private Date Night

2 hours of private studio time
Flexible booking available 7 days a week
Quality creative time with someone special. Couples/duos will be taught various hand-building techniques such as pinch, coiling, and slab to make a piece from start to finish. Individuals are given creative freedom or can request project ideas from their instructor. In this intimate class individuals receive more personalized instruction and are able to work on more complex projects.

Classes at the Clay Collective are so special! Shay is a wonderful teacher and does a great job of meeting everyone where they are at and making sure they come out of class with a piece they love. I love the intimate and welcoming feel of the studio and all the beautiful pottery work by other artists to gain inspiration. Very highly recommend this as a unique and fun experience.
