Intro to Ceramics

Build a strong foundation in ceramics through hands-on instruction in handbuilding, wheel throwing, glazing, and finishing techniques. Students will learn the full ceramic process while creating original work and developing both technical skills and creative confidence in a supportive studio environment.

Intro to Wheel Throwing

A beginner-friendly introduction to wheel-thrown ceramics. Through guided instruction in centering, shaping, trimming, glazing, and finishing, students will build foundational pottery skills while learning the essential techniques and processes of working on the wheel in a supportive studio environment.

Teen Intro to Wheel Throwing

A structured introduction to wheel-thrown ceramics designed specifically for teens. Students will learn essential techniques including centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing while building foundational craftsmanship, creative thinking, and confidence in a supportive studio environment.

Kids Handbuilding

Young artists explore pinch, coil, and slab-building techniques to create imaginative sculptures and functional clay pieces. Each session encourages creativity, problem-solving, and confidence through hands-on making in a fun, supportive studio environment.

Projects are fired and ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks. Students may return for a second session to glaze their work or choose to have the studio complete the glazing process.

Continuing Ceramics Studio

Guided Practice

Continuing Ceramics Studio is a member-only guided studio session where instructors provide demonstrations, feedback, and technical support while you work independently on your own projects.
