    Thursday evenings are for practice and creative freedom. There is no project provided, nor class expectations. This is time for individuals to explore with help. Instructors are available to demo, provide ideas, answer questions, observe, and help students improve their skills. Thursday Night is a great option for those who:

    - want to work independently but in community

    - have specific projects they want to explore

    - need a little help to move through any challenges they are encountering while working with clay

    Prior experience is required.

  • Includes:

    • instructor guidance

    • glaze & firings

    • access to communal tools & equipment

    • communal shelving

    • finished work will be ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks

    Clay is available for purchase: $1.50/lb. or bring your own Cone 5/6 clay

  • $35 per session

    A Drop-in session is the perfect amount of time for small hand-building projects. Make your own holiday gifts or home decor! Drop-in sessions are also great for those who need some time to practice on the wheel. Instructors are available to help students move through challenges they may be encountering while working with clay.

    • Projects must be finished by the end of each session or within one week of session. If a student needs more time to work on a project they can book another session or book open studio time.

    • Students must schedule time during our store hours to come back to glaze (free of charge) or can select a community glaze to be glazed by our studio tech

  • Purchase multiple sessions to be used over time and receive a sweet discount!

    Sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase. All projects must be finished within 1 week of starting. Abandoned student work will be recycled.

When are Open Studio Hours?

Sunday: 10-5

Monday: TBA

Tuesday- Friday: 10-5

Saturday: 10-6 pm (depending on whether you will be using the potter’s wheel or hand-building)

How much experience is required of Open Studio Members?

We recommend students take 2-3 of our 4 week courses prior to joining our Open Studio. Individuals must feel competent enough with the material to be able to work independently. We do not have instructors available during all of our Open Studio hours.

What is included with a membership?

We offer two kinds of 30 day Memberships. Our Basic Membership includes 4 hours of studio time per week, shared cubby space, equipment, tools, and firings. Our Advanced Membership includes 8 hours of studio time per week, personal cubby space, equipment, tools, glaze and firings, as well as 15% off other class offerings.

Thursday Night Member Deals vary based on quantity of sessions purchased, but all include access to equipment, shelf/cubby space, communal tools glaze and firings. Clay is additional and can be purchased from our studio.

How do I book Open Studio Time?

After purchasing a memberships you will be given a code in the form of a digital gift certificate which can be used to book online or over the phone. Booking online is convenient, but please give us a call for more accurate availability as our Open Studio Schedule is subject to change based on our private and group class schedule. Please give us a call or text during store hours for help with booking.

Can I book Open Studio if I am not a member?

Open Studio is reserved for members and current students. We allow drop-ins to book case by case based on availability and individuals prior experience.
