Ages 6–12 | 2 Hours | Open Enrollment | Late arrival is ok
Looking for a fun, creative experience for your young artist? Kids Handbuilding is a great opportunity for children ages 6–12 to explore pottery, experiment with clay, and bring their imaginations to life. Students will learn handbuilding techniques like pinch, coil, and slab while creating sculptures, functional pieces, and imaginative works of art. No pottery experience is needed! Our instructors will provide guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support as students explore and discover what they can create.
This playful, creative experience encourages imagination, builds confidence, and helps develop problem-solving skills through experimentation with clay. The class includes clay, tools, materials, and firing. Finished pieces require time to dry, fire, and glaze and are typically ready for pickup in 4-6 weeks.
